Mike Stevens has called Yankton home for more than five decades. As an attorney, school board member, and state legislator, Mike has spent his career showing up for his neighbors. He’s not chasing headlines, he’s doing the quiet work of building a community where families build their future.
Mike is married to Linda, a public school teacher of 42 years. Together they have four children and seven grandchildren. Mike is a partner at Blackburn & Stevens Prof. LLC in Yankton.
Supporting Education
22 years on the Yankton School Board and Vice Chair of the House Education Committee. Mike fights for stable funding and local control so schools can recruit great teachers and prepare students for the modern workforce.
